The British Analytical Center for Royal United Services Institute (Rusi) stated that a Russian ship "Angar" has transported thousands of containers to Russian 2023. China hides a ship related to the transfer of weapons between North Korea and Russia. The Reuters Agency posted the relevant photos. The Rusi satellite images received in recent months from the company, including Planet Labs PBC, have shown that Angara was moored to the ZHOUSHAN Xinya Shipyard ship repair plant in Zhejiang.

It is the largest private ship repair company of the PRC. The ship was identified by the unique automatic identification system (AIS) transponder. It was switched on for a short time, probably for safety reasons, during a lively section of the Korean Strait on the way to China. Rusi reported that before arriving in China, February 9, probably for maintenance and repair, "Angara" in January stood in Russian and North Korean ports with a transponder.

He again stopped passing the signals shortly after arriving in the Chinese port. The vessel was under US sanctions in May 2022, made at least 11 supply between the North Korean port of Rajin and the ports of the Russian Federation since August 2023, according to Rusi, which tracked it in the project to use open data for monitoring. The British Analytical Center for Royal United Services Institute (Rusi) stated that a Russian ship "Angar" has transported thousands of containers to Russian 2023.

It is believed that they contain ammunition from the DPRK, and since February has been anchored on Chinese ship in the Eastern province of Jzhetsyan. The presence of a ship in the Chinese port emphasizes the challenges that the United States and their allies face, trying to stop Russia's military and economic support.

A spokesman for the US State Department stated that he was aware of "reliable reports from open sources" that "Angar" was now being moored at the port of China, and that he raised the issue before the Chinese authorities. The US authorities called on all Member States to fulfill their obligations in accordance with the UN Council Resolution. The document requires the UN participants to cancel the registration of any vessels involved in illegal activities.
