Nadiya Putin: The Russian Federation will produce a "jet" T-80 tank because they have "problems"-media

The Russian authorities plan to restore the production of a Soviet tank, which has been almost a quarter of a century. According to journalists, they hope that they will be able to adapt it to modern conditions. Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to go for negotiations to end the war. The Kremlin head hopes that Ukraine will decrease over time and he will be able to achieve his own.

In order to gain an advantage in the battlefield, the Russian Federation has established mass production of T-72 and T-90 tanks. In addition, the Russian authorities plan to produce so-called "jet" T-80 tanks. Spiegel wrote about it. The publication explains that during the invasion of Russia has confirmed more than 2,300 armored vehicles. In this case, half of them are completely destroyed.

Meanwhile, Russian soldiers on the front are constantly in need of heavy weapons, which is worn or completely destroyed as a result of hostilities. The production of T-72 and T-90 is fully loaded, but the tanks need even more. In this regard, analysts drew attention to the statement of the chief designer "Uralvagonzavod" by Alexander Potapov. The designer reported that he received the task from the command-to completely restore the technological process of release of the T-80 tank.

Experts noted that the last T-80 has come off the conveyor since 1999-that is, production has been 24 years. Therefore, it is not clear why they return to the old tank if they have a T-72, T-90. The new development is also ready-T-14 "Armat". "Putin has hopes for a jet tank," experts suggest and explain what the Kremlin hopes. The advantages of the T-80 tank: however, T-80 has disadvantages that can complicate its use in the war in Ukraine, the article states.

In particular, the tank requires more fuel and it is more demanding. In addition, he had problems with reverse. The article suggests that the Uralvagona engineers will get rid of these shortcomings. The publication indicates that it is not known now whether the T-80 design will be improved, but it would be logical. Therefore, as a result, Russia will start to massively release the armored vehicle fast, small size and capable of shooting a larger distance faster.

"It can be an advantage in the battle," the article said. "The Russians can create high-tech T-80 or modernize old ones. The result will be seen at the front in Ukraine. In any case, the Russians should not be underestimated," the Bundesver Officer summed up with Spiegel. It should be noted that the extension of tanks in Russia became known in the middle of the summer of 2023.

Then it was argued that the Uralvagozavod was completely re -profiled for the release of armored vehicles for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. At the same time, another reason for the T-80 is noted-it is profitable and suitable for use in extraordinary weather conditions. Meanwhile, Ukraine's government officials do not have news on the release of Ukrainian tanks. Instead, they hint that they have reworked Neptune's anti -ship missile for land purposes.

They are already used for attacks on military facilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Crimea. We would like to remind you that on September 22, 2023 in the Crimea there were explosions in the building of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. The network showed the consequences of the explosion: the headquarters were demolished and the upper floor was damaged. The General Staff of the Armed Forces has confirmed successful military development.
