Finland President named the terms that will be required for a truce between Ukraine and the Russian Federation

According to Alexander Stubba, the truce can happen in the coming months, although Putin understands only rigid rhetoric and should be forced to peace. A truce will first take place between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which will be achieved no earlier than three months. This was stated by President of Finland Alexander Stubb. "At first they will strive for a truce, which will take from 3 to 6 months, and then for peace talks," Stubb said.

According to him, such a truce can happen in the coming months. At the same time, Ukraine should be maintained so that it has a strong position to start possible ceasefires and peace. Stubb confessed that after talking to President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, his optimism about the possible truce increased. The President of Finland has also recognized the Trump method that puts Ultimatum and forces Putin to peace. In his opinion, Putin should be forced to negotiate, not bend to them.

"Personally, I think that Putin understands only rigid rhetoric. And it is in such a language that Donald Trump is now referring to him," Stubb said. He also stressed that Europe should participate in peace talks in one form or another, since they are solving the future of European security structures. We will remind, on January 28 Vladimir Putin called Vladimir Zelensky "illegitimate" and informed that he could not cancel his own ban on negotiating with the Russian Federation.
