Earlier, this was done by the Turkey Parliament. The country's leadership still postponed the vote on Sweden's accession. Sweden has not been in military alliances for two hundred years, but in the spring of 2022, Stockholm revised his neutral policy. The application for joining the Alliance was filed with the neighboring Finland.
