The head of the Czech security and information (BIS), Major General Michal Kudelka believes that Ukraine's pushing on a "bad peace" will mean an incentive for the Kremlin to recover and go to war again, but this time against the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. He told about it in an interview with Bloomberg. The Czech intelligence boss says that the strategy of pushing Kiev to significant concessions will give the Kremlin motivation for further armed aggression in the future.
"It is possible that the next 10-15 years Russia will spend on recovery after huge human and economic losses, and prepare for the next purpose, which is Central and Eastern Europe," Kudelka said. The BIS head frankly says that if Ukraine loses or agrees to the "bad peace", the Russian Federation "will take it as a victory.
" Kudelka adds that a full -scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 should remind Western countries that Russia is a "imperial superpower with imperial desires" and "absolutely despises" its military losses and death of civilians. Therefore, the Czech intelligence is convinced that the Western countries should avoid threats to safety and economic activity if business or diplomatic relations are restored with the Russian Federation.
"Russia is an aggressor that understands only force, and therefore the result of the war [against Ukraine] will determine the likelihood of a future global conflict with the direct participation of NATO. However, if the Russian Federation faces a strong country or a strong alliance, it will conclude that it is better not to do them .
Because, on the contrary, in Moscow will come to the conclusion that the war against Ukraine has brought its fruits and proved that European countries are weak, NATO lacks unity, and therefore can try to act, " - states the boss of Czech intelligence. We will remind, on November 20 the edition Reuters reported that Putin is ready to negotiate with Trump against Ukraine. According to journalists, the Kremlin may allegedly agree to freeze hostilities along the front line.
