US Army Army Unit wins with Chatgpt, Drone and Ukrainian Experience

The military is obtained by simple inexpensive electronics and programming with the help of chatbot. As opponents help them. Jeronimo's US Army Unit is gaining top of the Chatgpt and cheap commercial technologies to attack careless opponents. The Defense One tells about it. General Randy George says that inexpensive technology can be "very, very effective. " He mentioned the device for $ 75, created by Jeronimo, which simulates the electromagnetic signature of the command point.

But it is only the upper an arsenal of homemade tools, which includes everything: from a computer code written Chatgpt to the version of the TS-M800 army quadcopter with thermal imaging sight and reset. Officer Christian Ler says that the units are not yet allowed to use FPV drones, which are familiar in Ukraine, although he said that he studied their use in Ukraine. But Jeronimo's modified quadcopters can already have a lot. One TS-M800 carries scanners that can find cellular and Wi-Fi signals.

Sometimes opponents themselves easier the unit work: for example, when they named their commanding point with them they named their Wi-Fi at the command post. Even if the army unit is well masked, several errors can quickly detect its location. In another case, Jeronimo noticed the connection between different MAC addresses. The unit used Chatgpt to create a Python coding software that analyzed the link between MAC addresses.

Based on their models of movement and communication, Jeronimo could conclude what types of units they monitor. "It's just a simple visualization tool, it's not a skint," says Ler. The officer notes that such tools may be less safe than the US Army software, but commercial software can sometimes be a better option if it wins the enemy before he can use the vulnerability. "I don't care if you can break my devices if you're dead.

" Ler also emphasized the use of "Jeronimo" cheap equipment, such as Raspberry Pi, a mini-computer, and devices for spectrum analysis such as Hackrf and RTL-SDR. Such devices are widely used in Ukraine to recognize enemy drones. The use of "Jeronimo" commercially available open -ended technology also reduces the load on logistics.

"I prefer to have an 80 percent solution that works 90% of the time than a Swiss army knife that can solve (or not solve) all my problems in a large-scale combat environment that cannot be replaced quickly and which incredibly expensive in service. " The use of "Jeronimo" bombardment from drones can be so effective that other units sometimes think that they are deceived. In one case, the TS-M800 unmanned bomber seized and attacked the target in 45 seconds.

Speed was partially possible due to the fact that the drone operator, the reconnaissance officer and the unterofer artillery worked side by side. But the military, which is faced by "Jeronimo", learn to counteract. The third infantry division units test a device that simulates the electromagnetic signature of the company or battalion command point. In one of the battles, Jeronimo gathered for the assault of the army unit.
