According to the investigation, during the occupation, the Vovchansk leader of the criminal world, known as "Chizh", decided to rob locals. For this purpose, he attracted four Russian servicemen and three Ukrainians, including a 33-year-old resident, a 47-year-old previously convicted man and a 37-year-old woman. The crimes were committed from February to May 2022. Thus, in March 2022, the attackers headed for the exmer Kharkiv house in the occupied village of Bugayivka in Kharkiv region.

As two guards were present in the house, criminals forced them to give all the vehicles and property of the family, threatening with firearms. According to the "Judicial Reporter", among the suspects: "Chizh" (according to "Judicial Reporter", citizen Chigrinov DS) has already received a sentence in another criminal proceedings, where he was found guilty of state treason and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment.
