"It was just a statement": Belarus was not yet brought in nuclear weapons - Postpredd the RB at the UN

Valentin Rybakov emphasized that it was just an announcement of intention and nothing was done in a practical sense. Tactical nuclear weapons from Russia to Belarus have not yet been delivered. This was stated during the UN debate permanent representative of the RB in the organization of Valentin Rybakov today, May 16. He also stated that Putin's statement about this intention was just a statement.

"This announcement of the placement of tactical nuclear weapons in the Republic of Belarus - first of all it is just a statement. Nothing in a practical sense was done on it," he said. On March 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia has begun construction of nuclear weapons storage facilities in Belarus from April 3. According to the head of the Kremlin, the work should end on July 1, 2023.

We will remind, on April 4 the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoiga stated that Belarus received the complex "Iskander-M" capable of launching nuclear missiles. He added that some of the Belarusian assault aircraft can use nuclear means. All these measures are explained by the Russian military command protection protection of the "Union State". We also wrote that Alexei Danilov stated that China would not allow the Russian Federation to place nuclear weapons in Belarus.
