This use of a helicopter makes it possible to ensure the maximum range and flexibility for FPV-ouons, especially during flights above the water surface.
With such tactics, the helicopter plays a dual role: it not only delivers drone closer to the target, but also acts as a control unit, which allows the operator to use a drone at long distances. And in a situation with the threat from Ukrainian USV, this tactic provides much more prompt response to threats in the Black Sea, compared to FPV-Drones running from earth or ships.
