After completing the task, large mechanized attacks in the area continued. The Russian forces carry out a relatively increased offensive southwest and west of Donetsk. The rapid pace in the area of ​​coal at the same time, it is likely that the Russian offensive in other areas of the western part of Donetsk region in the near term will not slow down.

Since then, relatively large mechanized attacks have been regularly conducted in the area - although until recently it has led only to minor tactical success. Russian troops, apparently, initially intensified the offensive north west of Donetsk at the end of July to achieve an ancient tactical goal-to cut the highway Konstantinovka-Vugledar, but after completing the task, large mechanized attacks in the area continued.

Russian troops are trying to develop success in the Pokrovsky direction, at the same time, they are transferring additional forces in response to the Ukrainian invasion in the Kursk region. And all this does not slow down the pace of the offensive to the west and southwest of Donetsk.

"The great and expensive mechanized attacks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation indicate that the military command poses to the units of the Eastern and Southern Grouping of Troops in the area is a wide operational task," the publication reads. "In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders reflected 51 enemy assaults in areas of Sukha Balka, Panteleimonivka, Green Field, Vozdvizhenko, Novotroitske, Grodivka, Mirolyubivka, Novogrodivka, Mikhailivka and Selidovka.
