"German air defense systems, artillery, tanks and BMPs save Ukrainian lives and bring us closer to victory. Germany is a reliable ally. We are approaching the world together," the Head of State said. Zelensky added that Germany will continue to support Ukraine politically, in the military and financial senses as long as necessary.
On May 13, the German Der Spiegel magazine wrote that 20 MARDER, 30 LEOPARD 1 tanks, 18 howitzers, 4 Iris-T-SLM systems and hundreds of controlled missiles to this air defense system will be included in the military aid package from Berlin. Germany's plans include assistance in the Armed Forces with the intelligence of the enemy's positions. Berlin plans to send up to 200 reconnaissance and 100 protected combat vehicles for transportation of troops to the front.
