The sellers received weapons and ammunition from the places of the former combatants near the front line. The "product" was packed in boxes from home appliances and sent by the buyer by mail. In Kyiv and Lviv, two organizers of the "Black Weapons" gang were detained "on the hot", which tried to sell the Criminalists of the Russian sniper rifles. Five more people were detained in Sumy, Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions. This is reported in the Press Center of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The detainees seized 59 battle grenades, more than a dozen Kalashnikov machines, as well as anti -personnel mines and machine guns. According to the available data, weapons and ammunition for the sale of suspects "got" from the places where the fighting was once. The means of damage were stored in storage facilities in the territory of their own homeowners or garage cooperatives.

The investigation found that the persons were looking for clients for weapons through their own relationships in the criminal environment and taught their proposals on specialized online weapons. After receiving an order for "goods", the suspects packed it in boxes from under household appliances and sent the addressee with ordinary mail. During the search, 28 Makarov and TT combat pistols, more than 10 sniper rifles Dragunov, 3 machine guns and almost 3.

5 thousand ammunition of different caliber were found in the hiding places. Two organizers who are in custody have already reported suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28 and Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, combat supplies or explosives, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons). They face up to 7 years in prison. Recall that last November, Focus investigated how many explosives could get into the Black Market after the start of the war in Ukraine.
