Kirill Tymoshenko discussed with the leadership and members of the US Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine the work of business in the conditions of war and related challenges

Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Kirill Tymoshenko met with the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC) Andriy Gunder and Vice President of ACC Tatiana Prokopchuk. Representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce Companies joined the meeting in videoconference format. The participants discussed a number of issues that are currently concerned about the business community.

Kirill Tymoshenko noted that in the conditions of a full -scale war, the leadership of the state remains open to dialogue with business. According to him, in these difficult times, business activities are especially important for the country's economy, so the authorities are ready to respond promptly to the requests of entrepreneurs. “All the heads of areas and mayors of cities know that any business that is currently working is the number one question for them.

Relocation, any problems that arise in business-everything must be solved quickly. I constantly emphasize this at selective meetings with local authorities, ”he said. The deputy head of the head of state also added that during working trips to the regions he always tries to communicate with entrepreneurs, because there are many issues. Andriy Gunder, for his part, stated that business works even in the conditions of full -scale aggression of Russia and believes in Ukraine.

The ACC President also said that the House is actively interacting with colleagues in Washington, the US Chamber of Commerce, which is the largest business association in the world, in order to involve it in Ukraine. Discussing the situation in the Ukrainian power system as a result of missile attacks of Russia, the interlocutors separately paid attention to the passage of the heating season of 2022/2023 and energy supply for business in Russian aggression.

Kirill Tymoshenko emphasized the importance of continuing the work of enterprises, at the same time he stated the need to ensure electricity supply for the population. Therefore, in this context, it is important to find a balance. Separately, the participants of the meeting focused on the restoration of Ukraine and the elimination of the consequences of full -scale aggression of Russia.
