The Russians have developed a mini-computer for combat drones: what is special in it

The device is called the onboard computing module for the UAV. Its task is to accept, process and transmit data from the operator sensors in real time. The Russian State Enterprise Diamond Anta has developed a digital computing module for military drones. The Russians showed their invention at NaIS 2024 in Moscow, TASS reports. In fact, the event was not ready in the event, but only its concept.

The developers have stated that the on -board digital computing module is intended for different types of UAV. It will simplify the management of drones. In other words, a gadget can be called a board mini-computer, making drones "smarter". According to representatives of the company, the module is designed to "unify the onboard equipment" of Russian drones.

The device will serve the finished electronic filling for any UAV-it is only necessary to insert it into the body, to feed and activate the operating system of real time (real-time operating system has certain functions for the design, development and operation of real-time systems installed on a specific equipment- . ). Apparently, the OS will be responsible for the transfer of data collected by sensors, in real time, UAV operators.
