From childhood he was engaged in football and hockey, but because of the high height I had to give up football. He was the best player in Ukraine among 17-year-old basketball players. At one time he played for the national team of Ukraine in the European Championship since 2001 and 2005 he completed his career as a player in the summer of 2011.

In 2011-2014 he worked as an assistant of the head coach of the Kiev Builder, in 2014 - the head coach of Dniproazot from Kamianske (before renaming - Dneprodzerzhinsk). Since 2015 - he has been the president of BC "Kremin". Victor Kobzisty has a wife and two sons.
