Users of "Beline", "Megaphone" and MTS complained to the absence of the network. The disruption monitoring portal also recorded a sharp increase in complaints about a number of mobile operators.

In the media, "Ostrozno, Novosti" explained that on May 5, Moscow rehearses the air part of the parade to Victory Day. The local said that the connection disappeared when the event started. "Mobile communication, all operators died throughout Moscow," the Russians complained. Soon it became known that users sent messages from the RSNS (Russian system of extraordinary notifications). "There may be restrictions on the Internet in connection with the safety of holiday events," it reads.

Beline operator in the comment "RIA Novosti" confirmed that mobile communication in Moscow can work with interruptions. At the same time, the company assured that the reasons do not depend on them. "We recommend using Wi-Fi for Internet access," Beline added. At the same time, the Russian occupation authorities stated that it refused to hold a parade on May 9 in the Crimea. The reason for this decision is not specified.
