The Russian special services were recruited: the SBU detained a man who staged a terrorist attack in Odessa (video)

To spread: the agent of the Russian special services was detained in hot pursuit, the SBU reported. After blasting the car in the morning of July 5, the man tried to leave the Odessa region.  He was detained at the railway station. Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained the agent of the Russian special services, which in the morning of July 5 committed a terrorist attack in Odessa.

It is reported that the detainee is a previously convicted 22-year-old resident of Zaporozhye. He was recruited through telegrams, the SBU writes. "According to the investigation, according to the instructions of the Russian special service, the agent laid a pre -prepared homemade explosive device (SVP) under the curator. He himself said that the "task" received five days ago. He did not receive his money promised.

The explosion was injured by a civilian man: he received grievous bodily harm, and the vehicle under which the SVP was completely destroyed. After the blast, the man tried to leave Odesa region, hoping to "lie down to the bottom. " For his "work" the performer had to receive a monetary reward. However, he remained without the promised money and was detained by law enforcement officers at the railway station in Odessa, from where he planned to escape to his hometown.

Investigators of the Security Service informed the person being suspected under Part 2 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act). He faces up to 12 years in prison. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing. Complex measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The measures were carried out by the SBU Office in the Odessa region together with the National Police for procedural leadership of the regional prosecutor's office.
