The Russians stole the property of the Ukrainian "Red Cross" in Crimea - Ombudsman

Dmitry Lubinets concluded that Russia's financial contributions to the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Federation are more valuable than the values of the organization. The Russian "Red Cross" actually stole the property of the Ukrainian society in the occupied Crimea. This was reported by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets in his official telegram channel.

According to Lubin, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society had 10 premises in the Crimea with a total area of 641 square meters, as well as 6 cars and office equipment for staff. All this property was "occupied" by the Russian Red Cross. At the same time, the International Federation of the Red Cross did not respond to this incident.

"I appealed to the International Federation with a letter in which I ask to explain the" occupation "of the Russians of the Red Cross Society of the Red Cross in Ukraine and to transfer it to the Russian Red Cross for compliance with their principles. As of today, I did not receive the answers today," - wrote the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner man.

Lubinets concluded that Russia's financial contributions to the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Federation are more valuable than the organization's values. We will remind, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak put forward an alternative request to the Red Cross. It is a requirement to send a mission to a colony in occupied Olenivka, where Ukrainian prisoners of war are held.
