The Armed Forces try to clean the 30-kilometer zone on the left bank of the Dnieper from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation-OK "South"

According to Natalia Humeniuk's command, the Ukrainian military, in particular, is trying to keep the isthmus under fire, which connects the mainland of the Left Bank with the Kinburn Spit. The Armed Forces of Ukraine with the help of a counter-battery struggle are trying to clean the 20-30 km from the Russian troops on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the United Press Center of Defense of Southern Ukraine, said this on the air of the telephone.

Commenting on journalists about whether Russian troops intensify their presence in the southern direction, Humeniuk replied that the Armed Forces are now working to ensure that the enemy feels their presence. "In particular, we try to clean the lane 20-30 kilometers on the left bank within the framework of the counter-battery confrontation," she said. The command representative stressed that it was a difficult job for the Ukrainian forces.

It is complicated by the fact that the Russians stand behind civilians, trying to hide their units, weapons and equipment in their yards. "But our work is quite effective. For example, it can be monitored that shelling on the part of the Kinburn Spit has decreased significantly, as we were affected by the supply and storage point of ammunition," the spokeswoman added.

Natalia Humeniuk noted that in the area, the occupiers have no support, and the movement is complicated because the Ukrainian army is trying to keep the isthmus under the control of the mainland of the Left Bank with the Kinburn Spit. In this way, the forces of Ukraine's defense try to prevent the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to fire the Dnieper Lyman and Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities of Mykolaiv region.

We will remind, on March 22 Natalia Humeniuk said that the Armed Forces attacked the occupiers on the Kinburn Spit and destroyed their equipment. According to her, Russian troops lost a tank, two armored cars, ammunition composition and two reconnaissance drones that showed Ukrainian positions for further blows. On March 14, the OK South reported that Russian troops could not move in the south of Ukraine because the front line passes across the Dnieper River.
