"Flew to the occupier's window with a chance of 80%": The Armed Forces fighter told about the benefits of switchblade drones
According to the fighter, Switchblade 300 is a point weapon, which is mostly used to destroy the important goals or equipment of the enemy. According to a pilot of these drones in an interview, it is much easier to manage Switchblade 300 than a standard FPV drone (with a first person, real -time). A unique feature of Switchblade is that it flies straight, holds height and lateral wind, they do not need to constantly "adjust".
In the event of an unsuccessful event on the target Switchblade 300 will allow its operator "on the aircraft principle" to go to the second circle - it will start to circulate and be brought to the target. If this attempt is unsuccessful, then the disapproving amusement will be like a shulik, to wind the circles around the victim until it is enough for battery. Currently, this drone is used to destroy the enemy of the SBU, GUR and SCO on the front line.
Switchblade 300 is not a cheap system and try not to waste it in vain. According to the operator, most often, a memorrhage ammunition is launched for pre -well -explored and valuable purposes (command warehouse, HRS systems, other important equipment). The drone can fly 8 km for the front line and for a successful schedule, up to 80% to fly into the window of the occupiers' headquarters and destroy the entire commander's warehouse.
The most interesting thing is that you can learn how to manage such UAVs in just two weeks, and it is even with excess. The fighter in an interview claims that a smart beginner will have enough and one week of study at a special simulator.
"A lot of drone can do on its own: it is gaining height, calculating the approximate trajectory during the fall, a little tries to clarify the direction of traffic in the wind, and during the target on the target itself begins to decline, to accelerate - it is necessary to simply complete it," - says the operator Switchblade 300. However, there are some units that manage to spend this valuable drone to fight the usual infantry of the occupiers.
According to the interview hero, this is the result of uneven distribution of Switchblade in units (somewhere their surplus, and somewhere is not enough). But even in the case of excess, the fighter considers the blows of Switchblade 300 on the infantry with empty waste and unprofessionalism. There is no clear answer to this question, because each of these drones has its advantages and disadvantages, says the fighter.
In addition, these are completely different drones that were created for different purposes. In the case of FPV, they can be noted their lower cost and mass, but it is much more difficult to manage, and every drone FPV is a kind of surprise in which "childhood diseases" can get out or some shortcomings. Switchblade is the military shock drone Kamikadze, which is not cheap, but gives a wonderful and stable result.
He almost always works and performs his task, and if there are misfires, they are mostly caused by problems in the starting ground. In addition, the percentage of successful hits in Switchblade is quite high, and the operator estimates it in 70-80%. In this case, this result is achieved after the rapid training of the fighter, unlike the FPV-arom, where the experience and number of "hours of plaque" play a huge role. Earlier, Focus told what copies of switchblade drones "invent" in Russia.
