Thus, occupation troops were in a kind of "trap": they are forced to keep numerous reserves in the Pokrovsky direction, unable to transfer these resources to other areas where they would like to improve their position.

"Therefore, it seems that the enemy is making success, but he cannot make it differently, and it delayed numerous reserves in this direction, and does not allow the enemy to concentrate on those areas where he would also want to improve his position," Ryabikh said. The direction that supports Russia's main efforts in the Pokrovsk region is Novopavlovsky. There the enemy tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces 26 times.

"And of course, this is just the opportunity to make an optimistic prediction that the enemy will not be able to collect a lot of strength in order to dramatically change something, starting with new forces a summer offensive campaign.
