Three Russian oil carriers from Greece are excluded from the War Sponsors List-NAPC

Companies were previously transported by Russian oil products, which allowed to fill the budget of the terrorist state and finance Russian aggression against the Ukrainian people. Three Greek carriers of Thenamaris Ships Management Inc. , TMC Tankers Ltd and Minerva Marine are excluded from the list of international sponsors of war. The decision was made after the companies stopped transporting Russian oil.

This is stated in the press service of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC). The agency gave the status of "sponsors of war" five Greek companies, including Minerva Marine, TMS Tankers and Thenamaris. It happened in the summer of 2022. The organizations were transported by petroleum products and Russian oil, which allowed to fill the budget of the terrorist state and finance Russian aggression against the Ukrainian people.

NAPC Chairman Alexander Novikov noted that Russia has always used energy as a failure. This is especially true of oil. Such resources allowed the Russian Federation to influence other states, despite the sanctions mechanisms introduced. According to him, it is not only about the integrity and responsibility of such companies, but also the opportunity not to fall under sanctions. "First of all, it weakens the economic capacity of the military machine of the aggressor," he explained.

The NAPC reminded that previously excluded from the corresponding list of the world Irish Peninsula Petroleum Limited, which supplies fuel for ships. Experts are ready to consult on the steps necessary to exclude from the list of each individual company. We will remind, on November 21 investigators stated that Russia was able to bypass sanctions and receive important details for Mi-8 helicopters from the Czech Republic.
