Among the dead US citizen: Zelensky voiced the consequences of a massive blow to the Russian Federation in Kiev

In particular, they also used ballistic missiles and ammunition with cassette warheads.

"One ballistic rocket hit a dwelling house and went through the top floor to the basement," the President said. According to him, rockets and falling debris damaged 150 houses only in the capital. As of the evening of June 17, 131 wounded people and 15 dead were known. Zelensky also noted that among the dead was a citizen of the United States of America. The President reminded Western partners that Ukraine needs air defense systems to intercept enemy missiles and drones.

"Air defense systems have worked almost all over the country, a lot of drones and missiles have been intercepted - largely due to the support of your countries. It is a matter of life and death," Zelensky said. On the night of June 17, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation combined Ukraine with drones and missiles of different types. Kyiv came under the main blow. Odesa and Zaporozhye were also injured from the Russian shelling.
