There was a successful start: KB "Luch" confirmed the development of a new rocket for the Armed Forces (video)

Ukrainian designers who have developed Neptune's anti -ship rocket with 280 km away, confirmed Danilov's hint for a successful start of new weapons for the Armed Forces. The State Design Bureau "Luch" indirectly confirmed that Ukraine successfully launched its own rocket. Two Ukrainian officials were hinted at the existence of this rocket: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov. The post of KB "Luch" contains a video that Danilov posted the day before. The video is accompanied by a short text: "Glory to Ukraine!" Other details are absent. However, the edition of Censor. NET suggested that the post was a confirmation of the successful start of the Ukrainian missile. It should be noted that on August 29, 2023 there was a blow of unknown shells at the airfield near Pskov. Four IL-76 were burned as a result of the impact, and three more were damaged.

In this case, the distance from the airfield to the borders of Ukraine - about 700 km in a straight line, and the straight line passes through the airspace of Belarus. After that, President Zelensky stated that the blow was the result of a successful start of the Ukrainian missile with a distance of 700 km. However, the Ministry of Defense also explained that drones were used during the attack. On August 31, Alexei Danilov posted a video of the rocket launch.

No parts of the starting unit are visible. It is indicated that "the test is successful, the implementation is effective. " However, it is not clear when it is a record and whether or not a combat start or training. Meanwhile, the Defense Express analyzed the video and the situation as a whole: it explained whether it may be about starting the Neptune missile.

There are two points about the possibility of this rocket: the control system indicates that the rocket can have a double control system (active and inertial), or only inertial - "Open". There are also questions about the starting - it is somewhat similar to the system, which is used to launch Neptune and, at the same time, for the work of Harpoon.

Meanwhile, it is known that the Neptune rocket, according to the initial data, could fly up to a maximum distance of up to 280 km and was intended for the destruction of enemy ships. It is also suggested that it was signed by the Russian flagship "Moscow" in the spring of 2022. We remind that on September 1, Alexei Danilov threatened Russia for the second time in the last day by Ukrainian long -range missiles: he stated that there will be "fabric".
