There is no reason: in OPHZ did not find evidence of the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine
"The information provided to the organization is still in both parties, as well as information available to the Secretariat, is not sufficiently substantiated. At the same time, the situation remains extremely alarming due to the possible use of toxic chemicals as weapons," the publication reads. OSCHZ reported that all chemical weapons in the world, which were known earlier, were destroyed in July 2023.
But this does not mean that there are no chemical weapons, the authors of the publication are warned. It is clarified that, according to the Convention on Chemical Weapons, any toxic chemical, which is used because of its peculiarities to cause harm or death, is considered a chemical weapon. These can also be dual -purpose chemicals produced by the chemical industry worldwide for unattached purposes.
The Convention stipulates that all signature countries are obliged to report any chemicals that in these countries use to suppress folk riots. Among other things, it is forbidden to use the means to accelerate protesters on the battlefield. If these remedies are used in the forefront for war, they will be considered as chemical weapons. Recall that, according to Reuters, Russian troops used chemical weapons to clean the trenches.
