The latest developments can be tested directly on the battlefield, as well as refine them on the basis of Ukrainian defenders' feedback. "Ukraine is a country in the war, it does not produce under normal conditions.

That is why industry representatives have to understand that, first, these are new opportunities, secondly, that there is a risk, and the third is that there is funding. All three things together To share technologies. reduce the cost (transportation), reduce the supply time and better meet your needs, " - said the high representative of the EU Josep Borrel. The French-German weapon group KNDS announced the creation of a subsidiary in Ukraine.

The concern includes Krauss Maffei Wegmann from Germany and Nexter from France. The enterprise that will work in Ukraine will produce equipment and ammunition as stated by the ministers of defense of the two countries of Sebastien Lecorn and Boris Pistorius. On the Ukrainian side, the declaration of intentions was signed by Enmek. One of them was to open the CAUSAR SAU Maintenance Center and 3D spare parts in the other.

In addition, Ukraine will pass a license for the production of 155mm ammunition. Nexter is a CAESAR manufacturer. About 80 articles in 2024 will be manufactured for Ukraine in 2024. Prior to that, 19 cars from Denmark and several parties from the French were received. The Canadian manufacturer of armored vehicles Roshel plans to open in Ukraine the production of armored vehicles. The Ukrainian branch will become central in Europe.

According to the CEO of Roman Shimonov, our country is several advantages: the new plant should attract millions of investments and create hundreds of jobs. During the full -scale war, the defense forces received more than 1,100 armored vehicles, the most popular is the Senator model. They are served in Ukraine in various workshops. In the beginning, the Ukrainian branch will be focused on the needs of the Armed Forces, but it is planned to organize exports for other countries.

Roman Shimonov states that the decision on production in Ukraine has already been made. The company will also consciously approach the threat of Russian shelling, so they will do so that the occupier does not know about the supply chains. On June 7, the Netherlands announced that they invest € 54 million to expand the production of combat drones in Ukraine.

The Secretary of Defense Christof Van Der Maat noted that the funds will be directed to the financing of production sites and to further support research in the field of drones.
