Military accounting abroad and receiving a passport: In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs answered the main questions

To get a passport or issue a power of attorney abroad, men do not need to be on military accounting, diplomats explained. At the same time, they reminded that the issue is relevant to the term of stay outside Ukraine. The conscripted Ukrainians received answers to fears about registration of certain documents abroad. Citizens were informed that documents issued in diplomatic missions have no connection with military accounting.

However, it is worth remembering some of the nuances of the current legislation concerning the responsibilities of the state. The issues of mobilization and military accounting are referred to in a message published in the Telegram-channel of the Consular Department of the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK (Consulate of Ukraine in London).

Ukrainian diplomats noted that in their actions are governed by the current "Procedure for the organization and maintenance of military accounting of conscripts, servicemen and reservists", adopted by Resolution No. 1487 of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 30, 2022. It was also mentioned that in the Verkhovna Rada the people's deputies consider the bill No. 10378, which will amend a number of laws on mobilization.

As of the date of publication, on January 10, there are no changes in the provision of services for Ukrainians abroad. "There are no restrictions for men of conscript for consular services," diplomats wrote. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the United Kingdom stressed that conscripts could receive any consular services-there are no restrictions.

It was specified that without military accounting, the following actions can be carried out: the list of consular services is shown on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine: among them - the registration of visas, issuing acts of public status and certificates of criminal record, notarial services (certificate of copies, signatures, etc. ).

At the same time, diplomats from the Ukrainian Embassy in the United Kingdom reminded that military citizens of Ukraine should fulfill certain requirements if they plan to stay abroad for more than three months. In this case, they need to take a military account within seven days. Information on accounting applies to conscripts from 18 to 65 years, diplomats.

It is these categories of citizens that, when they are on temporary consular accounting, are submitted to the relevant register of "conscripts, conscripts and reservists" at the same time.
