Gave two teams: the Armed Forces Commander of the Armed Forces revealed the details of the first day of the invasion of the Russian Federation (video)
The first order, according to Mykola Oleshchuk, was given at 3:20 - on the territory of Ukraine they announced a "carpet" plan, after which all aircraft had to leave the country's airspace or move to the nearest airfield. "I saw with my own eyes how the airspace of Ukraine is purified. In just 20 minutes there was no aircraft in the airspace," the officer recalls. Mykola Oleshchuk gave the second order at 3:50.
At that time, all military aviation of Ukraine was lifted into the air, as it was expected that the invaders would be hit by airfields, infrastructure, anti -aircraft complexes and radar. The Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that then all the equipment was dispersed, and the units changed their positions. "We managed to keep the weapons and equipment we now have," Mykola Oleshchuk summed up.
We will remind, on August 19, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov reported that Ukrainian pilots, technicians and engineers started training at F-16 fighters. He did not reveal the details of the training itself, noting only that 11 partner countries were included in the aircraft coalition. Earlier, on August 17, we wrote that massive attacks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the rear regions of Ukraine are probably aimed at destroying runways and pilots.
