Three French companies will produce weapons in Ukraine: what is known

Some French military-industrial companies are going to deploy weapons production in Ukraine to help Kiev in the fight against the aggression of the Russian Federation. The head of the Ministry of Defense noted that it was about three companies that will cooperate with Ukrainian manufacturers.

"Three French companies will create partnerships with Ukrainian companies, in particular in the sectors of drones and land equipment to produce spare parts on Ukrainian land, and in the future, perhaps ammunition," Lecorton said. The minister was reported that all three companies were not named, but hinted that they are included in KNDS tanks, a holding structure formed by French Nexter and German Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann.

"The idea is to launch the first production capacity this summer," the head of the French Defense Office emphasized. According to him, Kiev will receive drones under the special program of the French army. In general, Paris will order 2000 remote UAV for the needs of France and Ukraine.
