Help destroy the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine: V-Bat drones have received a deadly upgrade in the US

To spread: American company Shield A introduced the latest version of its V-Bat drone. The manufacturer improved the autonomy of the drone and also equipped it with heavy fuel engine and Satcom. The benefits of the upgraded V-Bat are described in the press release on the PR Newswire portal. This UAV is specially designed to solve complex operational tasks: finding threats and targeting the absence of GPS and communication, border protection and sea surveillance.

Updated V-Bat received heavy fuel engine, which increases its flight duration by more than 13 hours. The drone can be deployed on almost any class of US Navy ships in all seven naval expedition units. UAVs still do not require a runway or catapult, and its design allows to land on moving ships, roofs and limited spaces even in a strong wind and a restless sea. In addition, V-Bat can now make a vertical take-off and planting completely autonomously, without the help of the operator.

The integration of Satcom satellite communications enables operators to drive a drone anywhere in the world, not just nearby, using the command-tape (C2) Beyond-Line-Off-Sight (BLOS). The V-Bat can also integrate several useful loads, including passive broadband visualization with Vidar support, synthesized aperture radar (SAR) and radio-electronic warfare.

"The most distant military is changing their larger and more expensive reconnaissance and observation planes (ISR), which are too vulnerable to their cost, and perform the same tasks with the help of smaller and more accessible drones such as V-Bat,"-said the president and co-founder of SHELD AI Brandon.
