"A little change": The Armed Forces officer reacted to the purpose of Syrsky (video)

The officer of the 54th Brigade of the Armed Forces Alexander Afanasiev does not believe that the resignation of Valery Zaluzhny and the appointment of Alexander Sirsky is related to some personal conflicts. The appointment of Colonel-General Alexander Sirsky Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not cause significant changes to the military.

This opinion was expressed by the officer of the 54th Brigade of the Armed Forces Alexander Afanasiev on the air of the Kyiv24 channel on February 9. The serviceman stressed that Sirsky was not just "dropped from", but was commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces throughout the full -scale war. "As representatives of the Land Forces, we were subordinated, and we fought with this commander. Now he is commanding all the troops. A little has changed, to be honest, for us," said Athanasiev.

Asked how the military was perceived by Valery Zaluzhny, the officer said that the expedition team deserved trust and respect. "But he has not gone anywhere. He continues to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he added. Afanasiev noted that many believe that the resignation of Zaluzhny is related to personal motives, however, in his opinion, personnel permutations were carried out in connection with the reorganization of some processes. "Especially for two years a person was . . .

The eye is already loving. He may rest and will continue to be more effective," the military emphasized. According to Afanasiev, Sirsky will work more now because he went to promote and reached a peak in his military career. "Everything will be normal, nothing to worry. Sirsky was a commander for two years, but they knew little about him," he summed up.
