AI will learn to create and control "invisible" UAV: How will it help the military
The Defense Ministry expects that "revolutionary power of artificial intelligence" will help the military achieve strategic success. The development was divided between three organizations: Defense Digital, the Laboratory of Defense Science and Technology and the Defense Equipment & Support's Future Capability Group. AI is already undergoing training and should soon tell experts how to create perfect landless drones and more imperceptible aircraft, the media writes.
For the first time, the Center for Defense AI was publicly mentioned by the head of the UK strategic command, General Patrick Sanders. In May 2021, he stated that the country faced the "technological tsunami" of threats that can only be cope with artificial intelligence. According to him, the preference in military affairs is increasingly provided not by hardware platforms, but systems that receive information from the networks from the sensors.
Therefore, the Ministry of Defense decided to introduce and use it for defense. According to Defense Digital, in May 2022, the Office gathered experts to the West, during which several projects related to the AI were shown - they are all being implemented in the defense sphere. British experts have discussed how to use artificial intelligence to develop unmanned ground vehicles, launch natural language programming to speed up, and make drones hide more in the air to the destination.
