The CEO of the Second City Hospital Vladislav Kukhar informed the publication "Public Chernihiv" that such operations were not carried out in Chernihiv before. The operation was supported by specialists of the Mykola Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. Five people who have 168 such operations have already arrived in Chernihiv.

"This is a surgery to remove a firearm, a combat injury of the chest. There was an innovative use of a neodymium magnet that helps us very great," said the director of the Institute Vasyl Lazoryshynets. It is reported that the fighter was injured on April 9. Before surgery, he underwent antibacterial therapy and the necessary examination. As a result, the fragment was successfully removed, the patient's condition is now satisfactory.

"It was possible to do everything without the use of the apparatus of artificial circulation. That is, a fighter of minimal injury was caused," - said the head of the cardiology department of city hospital # 2 Igor Wenger. The next day after the operation, the serviceman Sergei said that he was injured in the Sumy direction. Two FPVs were hit by the car where he was traveling from the point of view. "The most important thing is alive, everything else is nonsense," said Sergei.
