Will solve problems in the army: in the Russian Federation they want to introduce a military tax

The author of the draft law, MP Oleg Nilov believes that the new tax will help to increase payments to the mobilized and motivate them to go to war with Ukraine. The State Duma of the Russian Federation registered a bill that obliges the Russians to count up to 3% of their profit to finance the war with Ukraine. This was stated by a deputy from the Socialist Party "Right Russia - Patriots - for the truth" Oleg Nilov on Wednesday, April 12.

"This is that it is impossible to solve a thousand or two rubles a month solve serious problems in the army. It is hundreds of billions of rubles a month," said the author of the draft law Nilov. The document states that the tax is offered from conscripted men under 45 years of age, adding 2-3% to the personal income tax. Nilov believes that this tax will also help to pay higher wages mobilized to the war with Ukraine. "They will receive not 200 thousand rubles, but 400-500 thousand rubles.

The politician has already estimated that if his bill is adopted and signed by the Russian president, then a new tax will be charged from 34 million Russians. Recall that in December 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued an order for free land for mobilized, but not everyone will receive it. The document gives the right to free land for families liquidated in Ukraine by Russian invaders.
