In a short time of production in the early 2000s, only 12,000 shells were manufactured, some of which were handed over to Ukraine. Moreover, SMART 155 shells were replaced by 300,000 cassette 155 mm ammunition and tens of thousands of rockets for M270. Germany abandoned so many ammunition through the Ottawa Convention. It will now take 5 years of work to restore the production of ammunition. It will take about 100 million euros to restore the production chain.
