Refused the call, but handed over two cars: the man was sentenced to evasion of mobilization

After passing the medical commission, the man received a battle summary, but ignored it. During the trial, the military argued that he was actively engaged in volunteering and transferred two cars to the needs of the Armed Forces. In the Lviv region, a man was sentenced to a test period for evasion. During the trial, he claimed that he had transferred two cars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the Charitable Fund. This is stated in the sentence of the Stryi City Court of Lviv region.

According to the court, a resident of Lviv region in August 2022 was declared suitable for mobilization after passing the Military Medical Commission. In May 2023, he was issued a summons, but the man evaded the conscription in the army. During the trial, the man stated that he was actively engaged in volunteering and transmitted two cars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the Charitable Foundation "We Ukraine".

He made a request to mitigate the punishment, begging the court not to send him to prison. The defendant also pleaded guilty of evasion. The court took into account the fact that the man had transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine motor transport. Despite this, it was found guilty under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced to one year of the exam. This sentence can be appealed in the Court of Appeal.
