Journalists claim that the man was allegedly preparing to make the State Council, collecting information about classified scientific developments in order to receive a cash remuneration for it. The publication also states that the accused initially refused to admit himself guilty, but later began to cooperate with the investigation "under the pressure of indisputable evidence".
A criminal case was initiated against the Russian under Article 275 of the Criminal Code (treason). He was sentenced to 9 years in prison. According to the Russian edition "Kommersant", it is about Victor Ilyin, who was an employee of the Federal Nuclear Center.
