The Russian Federation created a Rifle Regiment from RVPP units with nuclear operators (video)
This information was confirmed by Russian activists who provide financial support for the newly created unit. According to volunteer Volodymyr Grubnik, 1 regiment of strategic missile troops received new means of communication and fulfills the task of a separate small regiment in the Kursk direction. Grubnik noted that 1 consolidated Regiment of RVPP conducts fighting in the ordinary infantry units with infantry weapons organized in battalions.
As the unit did not have the necessary communication equipment, volunteers provided them with civilian chinese radios. He believes that the involvement of RVPP fighters is associated with insufficient mobilization and a serious personnel deficit on the front, which forced the authorities to "use" contractors from "non-otidious" units, in particular from the RVPP and air and space forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"Since we have the second army of the world, we would like specialization. The question arises why this is happening. We have no reserves at all? Are we not needing mobilization? We have no people, except for sufficiently specialized servicemen who are not enough specialized military personnel should the tasks of small battalions? - says Russian activist Grubnik.
According to the portal "Military", which analyzed the reports of Russian activists, the formation of these units and their first departure to the war zone took place at the end of the summer of 2024. More active involvement began in August, initially in the occupied territories of Kharkiv region, but in September their activity was recorded in the Kursk region.
The fighters of such units do not integrate into parts of the Land Forces, but continue to carry out tasks in separate RVPP Battalions, which are subject to regiments and brigades on the front line. The number of personnel in the consolidated regiment can range from one to two thousand people, but the real number may be the other in the face of war. According to journalists, these units are likely not to be involved in the use of nuclear weapons, but by auxiliary staff and security units.
