Mobilization in Ukraine: What eye diseases will not be taken to the Armed Forces

According to the Regulations on Military Medical Expertise, some eye diseases give grounds for recognition unsuitable for military service. Persons who have certain eye diseases cannot be mobilized, but the level of suitability for service is determined by the Military Medical Commission (VLK) in accordance with the law. The grounds are determined in accordance with the List of Diseases within the Regulations on Military Medical Expertise in the Armed Forces.

Untake of military service, persons who have: men who have reached the age of 60 are not subject to mobilization, as they have a maximum age in the Armed Forces. They are excluded from military accounting. However, after reaching the age of 60, men can serve in the Armed Forces at their own request.
