According to the Jewish community, more than 30,000 pilgrims are expected to arrive in Uman this year. The head of the Cherkasy Ova Igor Storerets reported that during this period there would be some prohibitions in the city. On the holiday of Rosh Ha-Shan, which takes place this year from September 15 to September 17, the first pilgrims have already begun to arrive in Ukraine.

On September 7, the Charitable Foundation "Historical and Cultural City of Uman" informed the United Jewish Community of Ukraine that about 2,000 Hasidim had already arrived in Uman on the eve of the celebration of the beginning of the new 5784 (2023-ed. ). According to the Jewish community, more than 30,000 pilgrims are expected to arrive in the Cherkasy region in the Cherkasy region.

The head of the Cherkasy Ova Igor Storerets reported that in order to protect the locals and visitors, a special regime of entry, exit and movement will be introduced in the city from September 11 to September 21. There will be prohibitions on the sale and use of certain groups of goods in the pilgrimage area. Rosh Ha-Shan is a holiday of the beginning of the New Year for anyone who professes Judaism. Note the 1 and 2nd Tishrea, which usually occurs for the period from mid-September-early October.

Traditionally, this day cannot be on Sunday, Wednesday or Friday. According to the beliefs of the Jews in Rosh Ha-Shan, God determines the fate of man for the next year, but this decision is not final and may be changed within the next ten days. Therefore, with the beginning of the new year, ten days of repentance begin during which believers hope to receive a favorable decision, which will be finally approved on the tenth day.
