Mobilization in Ukraine: The Armed Forces explained why they want to call from the age of 25
According to Ivan Timochka, the chairman of the reservists of the Land Forces Council, the reduction of mobilization age will allow to bring younger and healthier people to the army. This will have a positive effect on the combat capability of the army, because young people are usually physically more developed and have less health problems than people older than 27 years.
In addition, young people who have graduated from universities have more modern knowledge and skills, which can also be useful in the army. For example, they can be drone operators or work in a computer sphere. "These are modern people who are well -oriented with the computer, with software, these are people who are used to being in motion, have already realized themselves, or began to realize themselves. Will it change this mobilization? And not, will not change.
This is a relatively small number of people, "Timochko said. Reducing mobilization age will also increase the efficiency of management in the army. Young people are usually more mobile and are better focused on modern technologies. This can be useful in headquarters and logistics units. However, Ivan Timochko believes that a decrease in mobilization age will not lead to a significant increase in the number of mobilized.
