Discussed Russian drones in NATO and end of war: Trump and Zelensky met in New York

To spread: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with US President Donald Trump in New York on September 23. Presidents discussed in particular the end of the war in Ukraine, the exchange of prisoners and anti -Russian sanctions, as well as the invasion of drones and aircraft of the Russian Federation into NATO countries. The meeting of Trump and Zelensky took place in the fields of the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations. The event was broadcast by Radio Liberty.

Volodymyr Zelensky took part in a meeting of the International Coalition for the return of Ukrainian children. He reported that thanks to the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, 1,625 underage Ukrainians managed to return from the Russian Federation. Before meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, Donald Trump performed at the UN General Assembly.

During his speech, he criticized the UN and the position of European countries in relations with Russia. According to the US President, the UN does not realize its potential and does not give him support in his desire to stop the war in the world. As for the war in Ukraine, he said he had hoped to be completed earlier thanks to personal contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
