Ukraine asks for additional air defense against the background of increased missile attacks in winter - the media

Journalists spoke with the US Defense Ministry. It predicts even more devastating missile strikes for Ukraine than those that the Russian army has previously caused. The Government of Ukraine knows that in the winter, Russian troops will strengthen Ukraine's missile shelling and prepare for it. About it reports Politico with reference to its own sources.

As an argument, journalists are given the fact that Ukraine has provided a new list of priority weapons, a leading position in which air defense is occupied. Politico writes that Kyiv is expecting a number of missile strikes in the winter in the critical infrastructure of dozens of Ukrainian cities. In this way, Russia will respond to military failures at the front and terrorize the civilian population.

Media journalists also spoke with a representative of the Pentagon, who confirmed the prepared missile strokes. According to him, future destruction promises to be even larger, as the Russian military ending the reserves of high -precision missiles. At the same time, US Department of Defense representatives have doubted that Ukraine will be able to fully ensure air safety even in the presence of high -tech air defense systems.
