More powerful than Tomahawk: What is known about Flamingo missile up to 3000 km (photo)

This was reported by Militari portal Defense Express. Photo of a 3000 km winged rocket called "Flamingo" was shown by the Ukrainian correspondent of the Associated Press Ephraim Lukatsky.

With a huge probability, it is the FP-5 winged rocket, which was shown in early February 2025 at the IDEX-2025 exhibition at the UAE, analysts say. The projectile affects the target at a distance of 3000 km. This is almost twice as much as the modern version of the American missile Tomahawk Block V.

Famo-5 Flamingo missiles are known: given the declared characteristics of "flamingo" and the appearance of a winged rocket with a fixed straight wing and the placement of the engine above the fuselage, other alternatives. Flamingo rocket has a satellite navigation with an inertial system. Milan Group can produce more than 50 FP-5 missiles monthly.

It should be noted that in August 2021, Milan Group entered into a dealer agreement with the design company "Ukrainian armored vehicles", under which Ukraine could sell the Agema -made land transport platforms for three years. In addition, at the end of November 2024, the Defense Forces of Ukraine received mobile mortars from Milan Group ALAKRAN 120 mm on the basis of Vamtac armored vehicles.
