The court in Serbia on Friday found 31-year-old Vlad Stanich guilty of hiring because of his participation in the war in Ukraine on the side of the Russian Federation and awarded him one year of imprisonment. This was reported by Radio Liberty. According to the investigation, in March 2015, Stanich joined the so -called "Hussar Regiment", which fought in the so -called "DNR". The Serb was in the occupied snow, where he stood on a checkpoint in the form of fighters.

In a comment to Radio Liberty, the man said that he was waiting for a conditional term of imprisonment, and acknowledged that he did not regret participating in the war in Ukraine on the Russian side. “I am a Serbian volunteer. I defended the Russian brothers with great honor and pride. Even if I was sentenced to a hundred years in prison, I would not spare, ”Stanich said.
