This Australian emu lives in the territory of the contact zoo in Sumy for several months. He came here from the forests of Kurschyna thanks to Ukrainian servicemen, the woman says: the defenders who came for several hours from Sudzhi brought with them Australian emu. The military said that a couple of hand ostriches who were not afraid of people came to their trenches. But one of the birds exploded on a mini, so one had to evacuate.

The zoo employee Svetlana Ponomarenko says that usually the bird lives in the aviary on the street, but with the onset of frost, he was temporarily moved to the room. The pupil eats cereals, enjoys grass, zucchini, cucumbers, and apples absorbs buckets. Until recently, the grandmother's courtyard thought it was a male, but a few weeks ago they were expected to be a surprise when a green "mango" was noticed when cleaning in the enclosure, which the ostrich did not like.

And when people decided to pick up the fruit, it was difficult. It became clear that it was really an egg, and the bird was "feminine". The female was called laki because the fighters wanted. In two weeks, she demolished another egg, now showing visitors to the contact zoo. In the future, closer to the fall, the zoo wants to raise money and buy lacquers.
