To spread: Russia has launched a serial release of a new piping drone "Golub" designed to cause multiple air blows using grenade launcher ammunition. This was reported on May 27 by Defense Blog, with reference to Russian sources. According to the developer, the company "Strathom", the drone is a quadcopter with the original solution-the drone is equipped with an internal store-"drum" revolver type for 12 fragmental grenades, similar to light, used in basement grenade launchers.

The peculiarity of the drone is that it transfers the ammunition not on the outer suspension, but inside the body, as aviation bombers - this allows to reduce aerodynamic resistance, reduce energy consumption and thus increase the flight range. For navigation and targets, a rotary system of cameras operating in two ranges is used: daily and thermal imaging. This allows the system to use drone in the dark and in poor visibility.

In addition, according to the developers, the UAV itself recognizes the goals - the quadcopter is equipped with an artificial intelligence system capable of recognizing the military. A specially trained neural network allegedly distinguishes soldiers from civilians in military form and weapons.
