Mobilization of the homeless: the Armed Forces explained how a recruit goes to the front line

Share: The Ukrainian military is really mobilizing homeless people into the ranks of the Defense Forces. However, before getting to the front line, they go through a typical path for a mobilized person, which involves passing basic general military training, as well as coordination directly in the unit.   At the same time, for the homeless themselves, this is an opportunity to restore their dignity. This was told by the head of the recruiting department of the 28th OMBr, Denys Shvydky, on the "Den.

LIVE" channel. "If a person without housing, but motivated, healthy, has a desire to join the army, then this is no longer a mobilization of the homeless, but an opportunity to restore their dignity and join the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Shvydky noted. At the same time, he said that a certain amount of time passes between mobilization and the moment when a person begins to perform directly. "She undergoes combat training.

And the training center already determines what actions she can perform in the army, whether she can be admitted to the unit or not. This is two months of basic general military training. And then already in the brigade, when a person enters the unit, there is still reconciliation. Therefore, it will not be the case that a person entered the Armed Forces and was immediately thrown into combat tasks.

We will definitely have time to train him, see if he can serve or not maybe, whether there is a threat or not," said the head of the recruiting department of the 28th OMBr. In an interview with Channel 24, the temporary spokesman of the Kyiv OTCC and SP Oleg Baydalyuk commented on the information about the mobilization of homeless women. He emphasized that such a phenomenon does exist, but it is not widespread.

In addition, he emphasized that the decision to mobilize or not depends on the conclusion of the VLK. "Bezhhatchenko or not - if the VLK indicates that a person is suitable for service in a combat unit, not even in the rear, but in a combat unit, what can we do? We implement the Law of Ukraine. Bezhhatchenko or not - what reason do we have to write that a person does not have a permanent place of residence, therefore he cannot serve? He is a citizen of Ukraine.

He can live not permanently on the street, but in some hotel. A mass phenomenon, so that all homeless people of Kyiv region should be taken and brought to To serve in the TCC - no. Let's give up the word "bezkhatchenko". We have citizens of Ukraine," explained Oleg Baydalyuk. We will remind you that earlier the military criticized the TCC for the fact that they are increasingly sending homeless people to educational centers.
