The CEO of the Joint Instrumentation Corporation Sergey Sakhnenko told this on Tuesday, August 15. The Rat complex was created on the basis of the SBA-70K4 armored vehicle.

The developers integrated all its equipment into a single intellectual on-board information-kerprinting system. He transmits all the data that the complex has received through the "vision" to the operator. In this case, a smart system processes information, analyzes it and offers a person a choice of several options. On board the complex is located an active radar station with a radius of work up to 4 kilometers.

"Rat" recognizes and breaks the UAV control channels in the sphere with a radius of up to 1. 5 km. And to destroy small drones, this development can be within a radius of 4 kilometers. The system is also equipped with a reconnaissance and inspection opto-electronic complex for observation and management of technique in zero visibility. According to Sakhnenko, "Rat" can be equipped with both a gun and a combat remotely controlled module for installation of machine gun weapons.

Such parameters allow the device to detect a drone in size from a bird and destroy it from a 30 mm gun. "It is a unique complex capable of counteracting drones, including moving terrain. The product is designed to protect both stationary and moving objects," he said. It is unknown whether the Russians are going to send "ray" to the war zone to Ukraine. The developers only say that the complex shows itself well when fighting drones in the city.
