Romanian leader Klaus Johannis agreed to study about 50 Ukrainian military. Romania President Klaus Johannis has agreed to transit through the territory of his country of certain categories of weapons intended for Ukraine. He also confirmed the organization of training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters in Festash. About it reports Digi24.

The Romanian leader submitted a written notification to the Parliament of his consent to the transit of military aid from Finland through Romania in favor of Ukraine. In addition, Klaus Johannis agreed to study about 50 Ukrainian military in Romania. According to him, this issue will be discussed at a meeting of the leaders of both houses of the Romanian Parliament on Monday. Voting on this issue will be held at the next joint plenary meeting of the hall.

It is reported that the authorities did not provide accurate information on the beginning of the exercises of the Ukrainian military. However, according to sources of the publication, they will come to the Festshta Air Base this summer. F-16 pilots preparation is expected to end at the end of the year.

We will remind, journalists of the British newspaper The Telegraph reported that in the medium term, the F-16 aircraft will be a salvation for Ukrainian troops and will be able to achieve parity in the sky with Russian troops. It should be noted that in the summer of 2023, Ukraine created the so-called "aircraft coalition", which should receive about 60 F-16 fighters.
